Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is the halfway mark, and the markets have managed to cut the losses from the day's lows. The markets are off the day's low. The Nifty has cut down a colossal 60 points, falling below 23,400. The Nifty Bank has also cut its losses and flipped green, gaining 50 points. Hindalco, JSW Steel and Tata Steel are the top losers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is past noon at Dalal Street, and the markets have managed to bring home a recovery, erasing the opening losses. The indices have managed to make some recovery from the opening decline, even as the market looks set for the 5th straight week in the negative. The Nifty has significantly cut down the day's losses to about 60 points, falling to 23,450. The Sensex is down over 129 points, crashing towards 74,200.
The index needs a close above 23,897 to prevent a weekly loss, and that is over 650 points away. The previous session's intraday low of 23,380 will be important to watch, while 23,500 on the upside stays a key level.
If Thursday's CAS session ignited any hope of a revival in the Nifty bulls, the overnight price action in crude and the US bond markets should put them to rest. Brent crude has eased, slipping below $105 mark
The Nifty bank has recovered a mammoth 800 points from lows to turn green.
