Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index is up over 140 points, with the index surging past the 25,450 mark with ease. The Sensex index is also on the rise, with index witnessing an uptick of close to 500 points. Some of the major gainers are Axis Bank, Adani Ent, Adani Ports, Bajaj Auto and Eicher Motors among others.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty has surged by over 140 points, taking the benchmark index past the 25,450 mark. The Nifty is at a one-month high. More so, it is back at last week's high of 25,330. The Sensex is up over 450 points, taking the old index to 83,000.
The Nifty Bank index is about 600 points away from scaling its record high mark of 57,628.40.
When it comes to companies reacting to results, the shares of Axis Bank is trading with major gains, surging by even 4%.
In addition, some of the biggest gainers among the Nifty 500 stocks include ITI Ltd, Craftsman, Oberoi Realty, Apar Industries, Asahi Glass, along with others
Infosys and Wipro are the two large IT majors reporting results today, along with other stocks such as Eternal, Indian Bank, Nestle India, LTIMindtree, Jio Financial Services, JSW Infra, Metro Brands, Waaree Energies, Vikram Solar, and Zee Entertainment.
