Stock Market LIVE Updates: After holding strong for most of the day, the markets have come off the highs, while remaining in green. The Nifty is up 170 points, trading near 23,200. The Nifty Bank has slumped over 400 points from highs to turn red.Reliance is still the top gainer with a 7% jump, Infosys is the top loser.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is past noon at Dalal Street, and the markets, after a blistering start, have now slumped from the highest point of the day. The indices are looking for support to hold the current levels. The Nifty has surged over 150 points, hitting the 23,200 mark. The Sensex is up nearly 600 points, trading near 75,000 mark.
Reliance Industries is the star of the day so far, jumping over 5% intraday after the results on Friday.
For the Nifty, 23,200 - 23,250 is the first hurdle on the upside in case it does sustain above Friday's high of 23,118, while the bulls would hope that 23,000 on the downside is protected. For the Nifty Bank, the index would want to sustain above 54,500 and make a move back towards the upper end of the 54,000 - 55,000 range.
