Stock Market LIVE Updates: We are in the second half of this top of the week session, and the markets have carried on from where it closed in the previous week. The Nifty is surging with gains of over 250 points, above the 23,200 mark. The Nifty Bank is also rising, jumping over 200 points. Reliance, Tata Steel and NTPC are the top gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets arguably could not have asked for a better start to the new week, carrying on from where they left off last week. The Nifty has surged over 250 points, hitting the 23,300 mark. The Sensex is up nearly 1,000 points, jumping ot the 75,500 mark.
Reliance Industries is the star of the day so far, jumping over 5% intraday after the results on Friday.
Auto stocks like Maruti, M&M and others will also react to their sales figures for October. Apart from Reliance Industries, also keep an eye on Dixon Tech, Muthoot Finance, CDSL, PB Fintech and others, as they react to their numbers as well in today's session.
For the Nifty, 23,200 - 23,250 is the first hurdle on the upside in case it does sustain above Friday's high of 23,118, while the bulls would hope that 23,000 on the downside is protected. For the Nifty Bank, the index would want to sustain above 54,500 and make a move back towards the upper end of the 54,000 - 55,000 range.
