Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Taking a cue from Wall Street and Asian markets, the Indian markets are trading with cuts. The Nifty index is down over 120 points, dragging the index to below 26,000. The Sensex index is also down, falling over 400 points. The index is now below 84,650. Dr Reddy, Sun Pharma, HDFC Life, Bharti Airtel, and Max Healthcare are among the major losers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index is under pressure, as the Indian markets are under pressure. The 50-stock index is down over 120 points, falling to below 25,950. Earnings reactions are in focus.
The Sensex index is also down over 400 points, stumbling to 84,600. When we look at the banking index, Nifty Bank is down close to 200 points.
When it comes to Nifty, Wednesday's high of 26,097 is the first level to watch on the Nifty, while Tuesday's low of 25,811 remains a key support.
The Nifty Pharma and Healthcare indices are the sectoral indices that are under pressure in today's session.
The top losers among the Nifty 500 stocks are NMDC, Dr Reddy's, Indus Tower, LIC Housing FIn, Bharti Hexacom and United Breweries along with the stocks.
Today's session will see stocks such as Cipla, Bandhan Bank, Canara Bank, Carborundum, Dabur, Datamatics, DLF, Hyundai Motor India, IEX, IIFL Finance, Motilal Oswal, NTPC, Navin Fluorine, Swiggy, Union Bank and others report results.
