Navratna defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has announced fresh defence orders worth ₹732 crore since its last disclosure on October 22, 2025.
The newly secured contracts cover a wide range of advanced defence and technology systems, including Software Defined Radios (SDRs), tank sub-systems, communication equipment, missile components, financial management software, cybersecurity solutions, upgrades, spares, and related services.
BEL highlighted that the Software Defined Radios are the first fully indigenous radios, jointly designed and developed with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and manufactured by BEL. These state-of-the-art SDRs are interoperable with existing and legacy communication systems, ensuring secure, real-time data exchange and enhancing the Indian Army’s operational readiness in modern network-centric battlefields.
In addition, BEL had earlier received a major order worth ₹633 crore on October 22, 2025, from Cochin Shipyard Limited. The contract involves supplying critical components for sensors, weapon systems, fire control mechanisms, and communication equipment.
Together, these contracts span a wide range of offerings such as tank subsystems, ship data networks, combat management systems, train collision avoidance systems (Kavach), laser dazzlers, jammers, spares, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity tools, upgrades, and blockchain-based platforms.
The announcement comes just ahead of BEL’s Q2FY26 results conference call, scheduled for Friday, October 31, 2025.
