Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:  The Indian markets are trading amid extreme volatility, with the Nifty is down 50 points, falling to 22,700. The Sensex is down over 200 points, falling towards the 73,000 mark.

The Nifty, which recovered over 500 points from the lows last Thursday, it will face a key challenge of reacting to macro developments, as well as some decent business updates from its lenders.

The Nifty Bank, which recovered nearly 1,600 points from the lows on Thursday, will be the index to watch, as nearly every single constituent has reported its business updates for the quarter, including HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank and others.

For the Nifty, holding on to 22,700 - 22,800 is key for a move back to 23,000, while a gap down will mean 22,500 becomes the key level to watch. Apart from banks, watch for business update reactions from Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Housing, Dabur, Avenue Supermarts, M&M Finance, and many more.
