Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The market are moving cautiously after hitting record highs yesterday. The Nifty is trading around 26,200 with losses of around 50 points. The Sensex is also in a similar space, with the index trading with an uptick of 20 points,, moving below the record mark of 86,000. Some of the biggest gainers include Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Industries, HUL, Hindalco among others.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty trades around the 26,200 mark with gains of around 20 points, as the markets trade on cautious ground. This comes as the index looks to end on a high after witnessing a record high, 14 months after its previous record.
The index now looks at its new record high of 26,310. The Nifty needs a close above 26,068 to post a weekly gain.
The Sensex index is also trading in a similar condition; with a rise of around 50 points, the index remains below the recent record mark of 86,000.
GAIL shares are in focus after getting lower than the lower-than-expected increase in tariff, falling over 7% in the intraday trade today.
The Nifty Bank index is under a little pressure, as the marquee index is down close to 100 points, as it looks to chase down the 60,000 mark.
Some of the biggest gainers among the Nifty 500 stocks include KSB Ltd, Five Star Bus, Welspun Living, Varun Beverages, SRF, BLS , IGL and Lemon Tree Hotels among others.
