Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The final three sessions of 2025 begin today with the Nifty bulls aiming to protect the 26,000 mark on the downside, something they successfully did last Friday. Volumes will dwindle further as the year draws to a close. On the upside, 26,200 - 26,300 remains a barrier for the index and despite crossing those levels twice last week, the index could not sustain above that.
For the Nifty Bank, it is precariously close to breaking below the 59,000 mark, and the immediate support is the 38.2% retracement level of the recent rally, which is at 58,890. While the index remains confined to a range, the spotlight will be on specific stocks, particularly Coforge, after its mega deal announcement last Friday, where analysts have cited some concerns for it to be successful.
In addition, Silver prices have made new highs this morning, keeping Hindustan Zinc in focus. Also watch for names like Ventive Hospitality, Sigachi Industries, and Viceroy Hotels, along with railway stocks.
