NCC bags ₹500 crore orders in September across buildings, transportation divisions

Infrastructure and construction company NCC Ltd on Wednesday (September 30) said it has received two orders worth ₹500.22 crore, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST), during September 2026.

Of the two orders, ₹224.74 crore pertains to the Buildings Division and ₹275.48 crore to the Transportation Division. These orders are in addition to a major order worth ₹1,076.71 crore, excluding GST, disclosed by the company on September 28.

"This is in continuation to our letter dated 28th September 2026 regarding the disclosure on receipt of one (1) Major Order valued ₹1076.71 Crore (excl. GST) by the company.

In addition to the aforementioned major order, the company has received two (2) other orders during the month of September 2026, totalling ₹500.22 Crore (excl. GST). Of the two orders received, ₹224.74 Crore pertains to the Buildings Division, and ₹275.48 Crore pertains to the Transportation Division of the company," NCC said in a regulatory filing.

The company said the two orders were received in the normal course of business and do not include any internal order. NCC said its promoters, promoter group and group companies have no interest in the entities that awarded the projects. The orders also do not fall under related party transactions.

First Quarter Results

Consolidated net profit rose 12.6% year-on-year to ₹216.4 crore, while revenue increased 12.2% to ₹5,812 crore. Operating performance also improved, with EBITDA climbing 19.5% to ₹545 crore, while the operating margin expanded to 9.38% from 8.81% a year earlier.

Including other income, consolidated turnover stood at ₹5,842.5 crore, compared with ₹5,207.9 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Earnings per share also improved to ₹3.45, up from ₹3.06 in the year-ago period.

The company continued to build its order pipeline during the quarter, securing fresh orders worth ₹3,882 crore, including changes in project scope. As a result, its consolidated order book stood at ₹81,214 crore as of June 30.

NCC Ltd is one of India's leading infrastructure and construction companies, executing projects across buildings, roads, metro rail, irrigation, water supply, electrical transmission, mining and urban infrastructure.

Shares of NCC Ltd ended at ₹128.40, down by ₹0.15, or 0.12%, on the BSE.
