Ashley Biden, daughter of former US President Joe Biden, hit back at recent reports about her father’s mental and physical health, calling the claims “DAMN disrespectful and untrue." In an Instagram post, Ashley Biden posted a photo of herself with her parents, Joe and Jill Biden, at the beach.

She captioned the post with a message: “Too grateful to be angry about all the bulls**t," adding, “This family’s only coverup is a beach coverup."

Ashley Biden’s comments come amid speculation about the former president’s health, particularly in the wake of books such as Original Sin. Rejecting the claims, Ashley Biden wrote, “He aged, YES! As we all do! And the stress of the presidency accelerates. But he was always MORE than capable of doing the job. And a damn good one."

Ashley Biden took aim at what she called “recent noise from fake news" accusing some in the media of pushing false narratives for profit. She wrote, “The noise is so DAMN disrespectful and untrue… created by those committed to perpetuating and profiting from some real BS. Get lost with your fake news and anonymous sources."

Ashley also thanked the public for the outpouring of support following her father’s recent prostate cancer diagnosis.

Her comments follow a similar rebuke from Joe Biden’s granddaughter Naomi Biden, who criticized Original Sin in a post on X (formerly Twitter), calling the book “political fairy smut" written by “irresponsible self-promoting journalists."
