Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur on Monday, the first such meeting between them following US President Donald Trump’s imposition of 50% tariffs on Indian imports.
“Glad to meet @SecRubio this morning in Kuala Lumpur. Appreciated the discussion on our bilateral ties as well as regional and global issues," Rubio said.
