iPhone 16 Is Still The Best-Selling Apple Product, No Samsung Flagship Or Pixel In The Top 10

iPhone 16 has led the charts for the last two quarters and Apple continues to dominate the list with Samsung making the space with others.

iPhone 16 is once again selling more than other premium phones

Everyone wants a piece at the top of the table but it has become quite obvious that Apple is still the brand to beat. And it doesn’t even matter which iPhone is launched or how costly they are, the company finds takers, which is once again evident from the latest industry chart for the top-selling phones during the Q3 2025 period. The top 10 list once again is dominated by Apple and Samsung which is hardly surprising and no sign of the Google Pixels, Vivo X-series or any other premium device. 

iPhones Rule The Market, Yet Again 

iPhone 16 is once again leading the charts, as highlighted by Counterpoint Research in its tracker report. The next two are also from the same series, iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max that came second and third, respectively. 

The big surprise is the inclusion of the supposed ‘failed’ iPhone 16e model which comes next and sits in the top 5 of the phones that have sold well. No sign of the iPhone 17, which has reportedly sold well across markets, including India but that could change in the next quarter when Apple will have more clarity about the numbers for its latest base model. 

The company does manage to see the iPhone 17 Pro Max making the top 10 list which is impressive for its most premium model. The rest of the spots have been grabbed by Samsung, but with its popular A-series mid range offerings. These include the Galaxy A16 5G, Galaxy A06, Galaxy A36, Galaxy A56 and the Galaxy 16 4G variant. 

Samsung Gatecrashes But Where Are The Rest? 

Samsung does have a strong presence in the top 10 but sadly none of them are from the Galaxy S or Z series flagships. We don’t even see Google Pixels, Vivo X-series or even the Xiaomi’s mentioned anywhere in prominence.

Does this mean these brands are not selling well? Not really, but at the end of the day, Apple’s one year old iPhone 16 topping the charts for sales for three straight quarters tells you the amount of work needed for these brands to topple the tech giant.

Is it an impossible task, we’re not sure about that but as long as people see the iPhone for the ‘Apple status’, that itself will earn the company billions for many years to come.
