Hillary Clinton testified before House committee, stating she had no idea about Jeffrey Epstein's criminal activities.

Former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton on Thursday testified before House committee, saying she had “no idea" about sex offender Jeffrey Epstein nor or his ex-associate Ghislaine Maxwell’s criminal activities.
She appeared before a congressional committee, chaired by James Comer, investigating Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.
“I had no idea about their criminal activities. I do not recall ever encountering Mr. Epstein," she said.
Ahead of the hearing, Comer said “the purpose of the whole investigations to try to understand many things about Epstein."
According to AFP, Trump and Bill Clinton, both 79, feature prominently in the recently released trove of government documents related to Epstein, but have each said they broke ties with the financier before his 2008 conviction in Florida as a sex offender.
