Lior Raz of Fauda met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Israel, praising Modi's admiration for art and acting.

Lior Raz, the popular Israeli series ‘Fauda’ star, has expressed glee over his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter’s two-day trip to the nation.

“It was amazing, and it was a huge honour to meet the Prime Minister of India. Such a huge country and we know that we have a lot of audience in India for our shows", Raz said.

The ‘Fauda’ star acknowledged Prime Minister Modi’s admiration for acting, production, and art in India.

“To get this honour from your Prime Minister, for us, it is great to see how he supports acting, producing and art in your country. I think this is something that we should learn how to do in our country as well. We would love to collaborate again. My show Fauda’s Netflix premiere was in Goa Film Festival, we would love to come back and do it again", the actor said.

PM’S MEETING WITH ‘FAUDA’ TEAM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his two-day visit to Israel, met with the team of ‘Fauda’. The meeting was marked by a relaxed atmosphere, as PM Modi took a group selfie with the team and posted it on his ‘X’ account with a light-hearted and witty caption.

“Thankfully, this interaction required only a selfie, no undercover work!" PM Modi wrote.

A GIFT TO THE PM

The star-cast of the series also gifted the Prime Minister a poster of ‘FAUDA 5’ with their signatures.

Fauda, a popular action-thriller series, has a significant fan following in India. It revolves around a counterterrorism unit and has received widespread admiration for its gripping storyline.
