Firstsource Solutions, part of the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, said it has "zero dependency" on the H-1B visa program for its operations.
The company confirmed that the new measures will have no impact on its workforce or business performance, citing its strong local hiring strategy and globally distributed execution model, which insulates it from changes in immigration regulations.
As many as five IT service providers, including Mphasis, Persistent Systems, Sasken Technologies, Cyient, Firstsource Solutions, and Coforge, issued clarifications to the exchanges on Sunday evening, outlining the impact of the ongoing H-1B visa issue on their financials.
Indian IT stocks will react on Monday to US President Donald Trump's weekend order imposing a one-time $100,000 fee on each new H-1B visa petition, while restricting the entry of certain non-immigrant workers.
The US administration clarified that the new fee will not apply to H-1B visas already issued or to petitions submitted before 12:01 am Eastern Time on September 21, 2025.
US-listed shares of Infosys and Wipro fell as much as 4% on Friday, though several clarifications have since eased concerns.
Shares of Firstsource Solutions Ltd. closed 0.41% lower on Friday at ₹373, but the stock remains up 16% over the past six months.
