Chrome users use autofill to add passwords without remembering them and now you can add details in forms online.

Chrome is making it easy to add details in forms.
Remembering passwords is handled by secure autofill features in browsers like Chrome and Edge and now Google is going one step further to simplify the process of filling details. The has announced the new update which is gradually coming to all users and it plans to add more data types so that people don’t need to copy-paste or note down certain numbers to fill them in the forms.
The web browser will make you fill the personal details one time and then be able to autofill whenever you need them while filling up forms online. All this becomes possible with an existing autofill option. It only works on the web version of Chrome
Chrome Autofill For License And Passport Details: How It Works
Google says you can use the enhanced autofill feature to add these details that Chrome will gradually autofill for the user. The new update allows you to add the passport number, license number as well as the details of your car. The web browser is also better at reading the context of forms and allowing you to fill them accurately.
The enhanced autofill option is not enabled by default but you can turn it on from the settings to make use of these new additional details.
So when you fill a form and want to add these details, the enhanced autofill feature will remember the data and help you fill them right away when you need it next time. Google assures that enhanced autofill is private and secure. More importantly, you can manage the data stored in the feature, and even delete them if needed.
Some people might like the convenience of the feature but some might question the need to simplify these steps, when the purpose of having personal details lose its personality.
