AirPods Pro 3 was introduced last month in the market and it is claimed to have the best ANC for Apple's earbuds.
Some AirPods Pro 3 users have complained and got their units replaced
AirPods Pro 3 users are facing noise issues with their units and some of them have raised their complaints via forums this week. AirPods Pro 3 is claimed to be Apple’s best noise cancelling TWS earbuds in the market.
But the new issue is dampening the hype around the product with people not sure about the cause of the irritating noise that is being heard when the ANC mode is enabled and no music or podcast is playing.
The problem does not seem to be widespread but for a premium AirPods Pro model even a small sample size of issue is worth taking a look.
AirPods Pro 3 Noise Issue: What Users Are Saying
The biggest concern is that the issue with AirPods Pro 3 is not just one but multiple ways people are hearing the static noise. This means they are unable to use the AirPods at lower volume because that brings a ‘hiss-like’ sound. While some have faced whistling noise issues in just one side of the AirPods.
It is hard to tell if these noise issues are linked to the AirPods Pro 3 hardware or something in the iOS 26 update that has caused these problems. One of the users claims Apple is willing to replace the AirPods Pro 3 unit who are facing these issues but even then the problem is not completely going away.
Even then, Apple seems to have instructed its store employees to help the affected users with a replacement model. But we do hope the company finds the main issue that is causing the hiss and irritating sounds in the first place.
The new AirPods Pro 3 model was introduced at the iPhone 17 launch event in September this year. These are priced over Rs 22,000 but come with improved ANC and longer battery life. The Pro 3 are also the first to get the live translation feature out of the box which is gradually coming to the Pro 2 and the other variants.
