An Australian CEO was allegedly stabbed to death by a 15-year-old during a house party at his luxurious mansion on Thursday night in Brisbane. Greg Josephson, 59, was the co-founder of clothing company Universal Store.
He was found dead at his mansion during a party hosted by him. There were nearly 30 teenagers present when he was discovered dead, with the police arresting a 15-year-old boy, who was known to the entrepreneur.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and found approximately 30 teenagers gathered at the location.
Media reports citing officials claimed that the body was discovered at the house, with most of the people present unaware of the tragedy.
“At this stage, the initial investigation indicates that no other persons were involved other than the 15-year-old boy," Det Acting Supt. Craig Williams was quoted as saying by *The Guardian*.
The authorities have also discovered the weapon involved in the incident, and the suspect was taken into custody for questioning, has been formally charged with one count of murder, and has been refused police bail, officials were quoted as saying.
A report by the New York Post suggests that Josephson knew his alleged killer, and the two got into a heated argument when the boy allegedly pulled a household object and stabbed him to death.
“It’s distressing for the family. It’s distressing for the community and for… innocent people who are at the house who have nothing to do with it, so all possible support’s being offered to those people," Williams said.
