As Beijing rolled out its largest military parade in decades, US President trained his guns at Xi Jinping, accusing the Chinese President of “conspiring” with Russia and North Korea against the United States.

“Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America,” Trump said in a post directed at Xi on his Truth Social platform.

His remarks coincided with a show of force in Beijing to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War 2. Xi was joined by Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, with the three leaders seen walking side by side into Tiananmen Square and shaking hands with veterans.

Trump also groused about China’s efforts to recast wartime history by minimizing US support in defeating Japanese forces.

Xi, in talks with Putin on Monday, described China and Russia as the “victorious powers” of World War 2, pointedly leaving out Washington’s role.

“The big question to be answered is whether or not President Xi of China will mention the massive amount of support and ‘blood’ that the United States of America gave to China in order to help it to secure its FREEDOM from a very unfriendly foreign invader. Many Americans died in China’s quest for Victory and Glory,” he said.

While wishing “a great and lasting day of celebration” to the Chinese people, Trump added that he hoped American soldiers would be “rightfully Honored and Remembered for their Bravery and Sacrifice.”

The parade, which featured missiles, modern fighter jets and other advanced weapons — some publicly displayed for the first time — is Beijing’s bid to project power on the global stage.

Despite the optics of the Moscow-Beijing-Pyongyang camaraderie, Trump brushed aside concerns. “I am not concerned at all” about an axis forming against the United States, he said earlier in the day.

“We have the strongest military in the world, by far. They would never use their military on us. Believe me.”
