'Weapons, Intelligence... Everything': Zelenskyy On Security Guarantees He Needs From US

Zelenskyy said he requires “everything” from the US in security guarantees, including weapons, training, intelligence, and a strong army, to reach a war-ending deal.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday said he needs “everything" on the security guarantees from the United States when it comes to making a deal to stop the war.

Following his meeting with the US President and European leaders, Zelenskyy also said that security guarantees for Kyiv will likely be worked out within 10 days.

On a question of what guarantees does Zelenskyy need from Donald Trump to be able to make a deal, like American troops, intelligence, equipment, and so on, the Ukrainian President said, “Everything".

“It is everything, really. It includes two parts, a strong Ukrainian army… that I began to discuss with your colleagues," he told the reporter.

“It’s a lot about weapons, people, training missions, and intelligence. And second, we will discuss with our partners," he continued. 

“Security guarantees will probably be ‘unpacked’ by our partners, and more and more details will emerge. All of this will somehow be formalised on paper within the next week to 10 days," he said at ba roadcast press briefing after his meetings.
