The S&P 500 futures are up 20 points, while Nasdaq futures are up close to 90 points. It was the Nasdaq that led the sell-off in regular trading on Wednesday, due to pressure seen on shares of Nvidia and other chip manufacturers. Asian markets have defied the sell-off on Wall Street and are trading higher in early trading on Thursday morning. Gold prices have hit another record high after Fed Chair Jerome Powell's refusal to intervene in the equity markets sparked further haven buying. US 10-year yield cooled further, while the US Dollar index is under threat to break below the 99 mark. Friday will be a holiday for the US markets on account of Good Friday.
