US-Israel-Iran War Updates Today: The Iran-Israel-US war entered its 12th day on Wednesday, with air raid sirens, missile launches and fresh strikes reported across the Middle East overnight. Israel and the United States continued their attacks on Iranian targets, while Iranian forces responded with strikes aimed at Israel and American allies in the region.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps said it had begun the 35th wave of its operation, targeting American military bases in the Middle East and locations in central Israel. At the same time, the Israeli military said it had launched another wave of strikes on Iranian government targets in Tehran.
Focus on Strait of Hormuz
The United States military said it destroyed 16 Iranian naval ships, including mine-laying vessels, near the Strait of Hormuz. The waterway is the world’s most important energy chokepoint, carrying about one-fifth of global crude oil shipments.
CNN earlier reported that Iran had begun laying mines in the strait. The U.S. Central Command said its forces struck the vessels near the key oil route.

Rising casualties
Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations said more than 1,300 civilians have been killed in strikes by the United States and Israel since the conflict began. As per reports, missile debris recovered from a deadly strike on an elementary school in southern Iran on February 28 appears to be from an American Tomahawk cruise missile.
The Pentagon said Iranian attacks have also injured about 140 U.S. service members, including eight seriously wounded.
Attacks spreads across West Asia
Explosions were reported across the West Asia. In Lebanon, Israeli airstrikes hit Dahiya in Beirut, a stronghold of the Iran-backed Hezbollah group. The Lebanese Health Ministry said at least 95 people were killed in Israeli attacks on Tuesday. Hezbollah said it carried out 30 attacks the same day.

Air defence alerts also sounded across the Gulf. Bahrain said 106 missiles and 176 drones had been intercepted since the war began. Qatar reported seven missile attacks, while Kuwait detected five drones entering its airspace.
Saudi Arabia said it intercepted four drones and seven ballistic missiles, while the United Arab Emirates reported facing ballistic missiles and drones from Iran. The UAE said 1,475 drones and more than 260 ballistic missiles have targeted the country since the conflict began.
