US President Donald Trump’s love for McDonald’s is not exactly a secret, as he was seen even handing out fries at a McDonald’s store during his election campaign. However, in an unusual step, the Saudi Arabia government has set up a mobile McDonald’s truck ahead of Trump’s visit in Riyadh.
Saudi Arabia and the US have maintained strong ties for decades, with Trump referring to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman as his friend. In a bid to impress Trump, authorities focused on his fondness of McDonald’s by setting up a mobile truck.
The double-staircase trailer—branded in Arabic and English—was parked outside a media hub called “Media Oasis", where journalists were hosted amid video screens showcasing Saudi mega-projects like the futuristic NEOM city and the upcoming 2034 FIFA World Cup, according to Newsweek.
It remains to be seen if Trump would eat from the truck. However, videos of the mobile McDonald’s truck went quickly viral on the internet. “PLEASE tell me the Saudis are going to offer him some McDonald’s. The ULTIMATE sign of hospitality," a user said on X.

Trump, who is accompanied by a host of US business leaders including billionaire Elon Musk, landed in Riyadh on a whirlwind tour to the Middle East, from where he will go on to Qatar on Wednesday and the United Arab Emirates on Thursday.
