Trump urged Afghanistan's Taliban authorities to return Bagram “soon,” warning of unspecified consequences if they refuse.

US President Donald Trump on Saturday demanded that Afghanistan return control of the Bagram Airbase to Washington “soon," warning that the Taliban would “find out" what action he intends to take if the demand is not met.
He then took to social media later to warn the militant group in control of Afghanistan after he reached a deal to withdraw US forces from the country in 2021 during his first term that “bad things" will happen if they Bagram Airbase in not handed over to the US.
“If Afghanistan doesn’t give Bagram Airbase back to those that built it, the United States of America, BAD THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN!!! President DJT," he wrote on Truth Social, a social media platform he owns.
