Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets have marked a major recovery from the day's low, with the Nifty index up around 100 points, taking the index to 25,650. The Sensex index is up over 200 points, with the index trading around below 83,700. Some of the biggest gainers include IndiGo, BEL, Bajaj Auto, Bharti Airtel, Eternal and HDFC Life.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: After a bad start, the indices have marked a strong recovery. The Nifty index is up close to 100 points, undercutting volatility in the Indian markets. This rise comes after the index recovered nearly 300 points from last Friday's lows but continues to face resistance at higher levels. The index is now above Monday's high point of 25,652.
As for Sensex, the index is up over 300 points, bringing the index to 83,800. Financial stocks are under pressure, with PSU banking stocks once again trailing behind the previous day's closing.
For the Nifty, which traded in a 150-point range on Monday, defending 25,500 on the downside remains the key.
Stocks like Tata Power, Bharat Forge, RITES, RVNL, Fortis Healthcare, among others will be reporting their results today.
