Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:

Falling in line with the early market cues, the Indian markets have started the day on a cautious note.

The Indian markets are looking for some stability amid a lack of clarity on the US-India trade deal. The Nifty index is trading around 25,450, with minimal change from yesterday's closing.

The Sensex is also trading with minor gains, at around 83,500.

This comes after US President Donald Trump sent out tariff letters to over a dozen countries overnight, as there is still no clarity on the situation with India, as it was not part of the list of letters sent out.

Previously, the Nifty barely budged from Friday's closing, trading in a very narrow range. However, there were stock-specific reactions aplenty in the broader markets, mostly reacting to quarterly business updates, as is likely to be the case in today's session as well, which also happens to be the Sensex weekly expiry.

Gokaldas Exports shares rose by over 6%, along with a 4% rise in the stocks of Arvind, after Trump's 35% tariff imposition on Bangladesh.
