Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are trading on a cautious note. The Nifty index is trading with an uptick of around 10 points, rising towards 24,300. The Nifty Bank index is under pressure, falling 250 points and dropping below 57,000. ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, and HDFC Bank are amongst the biggest laggards.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: 24,300 is a hurdle for the Nifty 50. Every attempt that the index made in trying to cross that level on Tuesday was met with supply. On the downside, the Nifty defending 24,000 remains the most important aspect of trade, and the fact that Tuesday's low was above Monday's close is a positive. Oil prices continue to remain crucial after a small rebound this morning.
All eyes will be on the IEA meeting outcome, and in case prices drop further if emergency reserves are released. The Nifty Bank will be the index to watch, as it performed much stronger than the Nifty, and a near-1,000-point upmove will make the 57,000 level key to watch for the index on the upside.
The stock to watch today, though, will be Interglobe Aviation or IndiGo, after the resignation of its CEO. Also watch for stocks linked to the Jal Jeevan mission like L&T, Shakti Pumps, VPRPL and others. EMS stocks like Dixon will also be in focus.
