Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are responding to positive cues from the Iran war, as the Nifty surges over 350 points, jumping to 24,200. The Nifty Bank index is up over 1000 points, jumping to 56,600. IndiGo, Shriam Finance and Hindalco are amongst the biggest gainers.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty 50 and Indian equities will resume trading after Tuesday's holiday on hopes that the US and Iran are looking at more talks to finalise a peace plan in West Asia. The index has recovered over 1,600 points from the recent lows, but 24,000 continues to remain a barrier for the bulls.
On the downside, there is support between the 23,700 and 23,500 levels, with Monday's low of 23,555 being the key. The bulls might take heart from the 10-day rally on the Nasdaq, US markets turning positive for the year, and crude oil prices falling towards $90 a barrel.
Earnings season is slowly and steadily picking up pace, with reactions awaited from Just Dial, ICICI Prudential AMC, ICICI Prudential Life, Anand Rathi Shares & Stock Brokers, and Nuvoco Vistas, while companies like HDB Financial, ICICI Lombard, Tejas Networks and others will report results today. Also keep an eye on oil sensitivities, Reliance Industries, LG Electronics, Vedanta and Bharat Coking Coal.
