Crude oil prices remain at elevated levels and at one point had even crossed the $112 a barrel mark on Tuesday.

The biggest event of the day though, is the Jio Platforms IPO, the ₹30,213 crore issue which opens for subscription today and is the biggest IPO in the country's history.
Result reactions also continue with Bajaj Finance, IREDA, and others reacting to their numbers. Eternal, KEI Industries, SRF, are some of the major results today.
22,800 on the downside is key for the Nifty, breaking which, levels of 22,550 - 22,750 open up on the downside. Any recovery may find a hurdle at 23,000. For the Nifty Bank, the range remains between 55,000 - 56,000.
