Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are roaring, as the bulls are running with all guns blazing. The Nifty is up over 250 points, aiming for the 24,000 mark. The Nifty Bank is up nearly 800 points, rising towards 54,900. Eicher Motors, Shriram Finance, and M&M are the top gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are riding high on optimism amid rising hope of peace in the Persian gulf. The Nifty is up over 250 points, jumping towards the 24,000 mark. The Sensex is up over 850 points, rising to 76,300.
Brent crude is now trading below $100 a barrel. The Nifty has closed between the 23,600 - 23,700 zone.
Even as the Nifty remains in a range, the base has moved higher with supports shifting towards the 23,500 mark. The first level on the upside will be 23,800, followed by the 20-DMA level around the 24,000 mark.
The Nifty Bank is carrying on from where it had left off on Friday, the banking index is up nearly 800 points, aiming the 55,000 mark. The Nifty Bank has also closed above the 54,000 mark, which is the upper end of the trading range.
Earnings reactions today come from Hindalco, NTPC, Eicher Motors, Colgate-Palmolive, Divi's Labs, while companies like NBCC, Suzlon, RVNL, BlueJet Healthcare report results today.
