Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are responding to positive cues from the Iran war, as the Nifty surges over 350 points, jumping to 24,200. The Nifty Bank index is up over 1000 points, jumping to 56,600. IndiGo, Shriam Finance and Hindalco are amongst the biggest gainers.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The last hour and 30 minutes are to go, and the markets look set to close in green with major gains. The Indian markets have recovered from the losses incurred on Monday. The Nifty is up over 350 points, jumping over 24,000. The Sensex is also up, jumping over 1,100, pushing the index past the 78,000 mark.
The Nifty has recovered over 1,600 points from the recent lows and has gone past the 24,000 level, which was a barrier for the bulls.
On the downside, there is support between the 23,700 and 23,500 levels, with Monday's low of 23,555 being the key. Crude oil prices are falling towards $90 a barrel.
Some of the biggest gainers among Nifty 500 stocks include Railtel, Gallantt, Deepak Fertilisers, Afcons Infrastructure, PG Electroplast and Netweb among others.
