Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty is on the rise, with a surge of 200 points, as markets look to cement the recent gains. The Nifty Bank index is also up, rising 140 points, and is inching towards the 55,000 mark. TCS, Indigo, and Wipro are the biggest gainers.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are continuing in good spirits, and building on the recently attained momentum as the Nifty index surges over 150 points, rising towards 23,750. The Sensex index is up over 400 points, jumping towards the 76,500 mark.
The Nifty has smashed past Tuesday's high of 23,656. Oil prices, too, remain at elevated levels. The challenge is the sharp surge in the Indian crude basket, which made a record high of $142.
The Nifty Bank, while in the green, is trading marginally lower than the Nifty 50 and the Sensex. For the Nifty Bank, 55,000 continues to remain the first hurdle.
Some of the stocks that are trading with major gains among the Nifty 500 stocks include MMTC, JBM Auto, Trident, Aditya Birla Real Estate, Angel One, Olectra, among others.
