Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty is trading just above the 24,900 mark, with marginal gains of over 30 points. The Sensex index is trading with gains of just under 100 points, falling towards the 81,400 mark. At the Nifty 50 end, the IT stocks are the ones holding the end, with the likes of Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra are among the top gainers.

The Nifty is currently trading with gains of over 30 points, falling towards the 24,900 mark. The Sensex is trading with gains of over 100 points, trading below 81,500.
The paper stocks have been in the limelight in today's trading session. Some of the buzzing stocks in this avenue include Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers, JK Paper Limited, West Coast Paper, and Andhra Paper, among other paper stocks surged.
The August 27 tariff deadline of US President Donald Trump looms over the market, and it is likely that the 50% tariffs threatened on India by the Trump administration will take effect on Wednesday.
