Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index has started the new week on a negative down. The index is trading around 25,200, with a decline of over 120 points. The Sensex index is down close to 4000 points, falling towards to 82,000 mark. ONGC, Tata Motors, Adani Ent, Infosys and Tata Steel are among the losers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index is down around 120 points, with the 50-stock index falling to the 25,200 mark. The Sensex index is down around 400 points, falling to 82,200 points.
The Nifty IT, Nifty Defence indices are amongst the biggest losers today.
This fall in the index comes after registering a weekly advance previously. The level above 25,300 will be an important one to track for the Nifty, while for the Nifty Bank, which cooled off nearly 150 points from the highs, the 56,760 level is under focus.
BLS shares have nosedived by over 15% after the company was proscribed from taking part in any future tenders with the MEA.
Some of the biggest losers of the day, among the Nifty 500 stocks, are Reliance Power, Kaynes Tech, Redington, Jyoti CNC and Tata Communications, among others.
Today is also the last day Tata Motors trades as a consolidated entity before the record date on Tuesday for its CV business demerger. HCLTech reports results today, along with Anand Rathi Wealth..
