Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the previous trade session in the green. Nifty 50 closed at 23,437.20, while Sensex ended at 77,044.29.

Overnight, Wall Street indices ended lower. Asian equities also declined in early trade today.
Market attention will now shift to earnings coming in Infosys, Jio Financial Services, HDFC Asset Management, Tata Elxsi, HDFC Life Insurance Company today.
Wipro, which released its results post-market hours on Wednesday, will also be in focus today.
Today is also the expiry of Nifty contracts. Markets will be closed for trading on Friday, April 18, on account of Good Friday.
IRFC, DLF, UltraTech Cement, BHEL, Home First Finance, Paytm, GTPL Hathway, Angel One, Zydus Life, Sonata Software, are among the other stocks in focus today.
