Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are looking to make a comeback as the Nifty index is rising towards the 25,700 mark, after a 120 point rise. The Sensex index is up over 420 points, with the index climbing the 83,600 mark. Some of the major gainers include Asian Paints, BEL, Titan, ONGC, Infosys, L&T amomg others.

This is a crucial session for Nifty, as the index is coming on the back of two straight weekly losses in what could be the final week of this quarter's earnings season.
The Sensex index is also on the rise, as the index is up 400 points, surging to 83,600 mark.
The US Senate has officially voted to end the longest government shutdown in US history. This could aid the markets further in today's trade.
