Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is past noon at D Street, and the markets are in a highly volatile space, as the markets swings between red and green. The Nifty is now trading lower, after recovery over 200 points from lows, before losing some gains. Meanwhile, Nifty Bank is down 300 points. BSE, Dr Reddy and JSW Steel are the biggest gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: We are at the halfway mark of the day's trade, and one could have asked for a more volatile start to the new week. The indices have slumped with major cuts, recovered, fallen, and then followed back to green, all in the first half.
The markets are under pressure, with the benchmark indices and the broader market feeling the heat of the bears. The Nifty is down nearly 60 points, falling below the 22,600 mark intraday. The Sensex is down over 200 points, falling below the 73,000 mark.
The Nifty Bank is also down, falling nearly 400 points, falling below the 54,000 mark. The abnking index has largely remained either in deep red or flat for most of the day.
For the Nifty Bank, the bulls would want to first take it past 54,500 on the upside, else a break below 54,000 could accelerate the selling pressure.
