Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets have undone the qualms and are now soaring. The Nifty index is trading around 23,400 with gains of about 210 points. The Nifty Bank index is also trading with gains of 500 points. Ultratech, M&M and Shriram Fin are amongst gainers.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are looking to make some gains while trading cautiously. The Nifty is up nearly 100 points, aiming for the 23,300 mark. The Sensex index is now up over 250 points, scaling to the 74,900 mark.
This comes at a time when the Nifty bulls look for some relief at lower levels, as the index is nearing a key technical level. The 78.6% retracement from the April 2025 lows to the January 2026 highs comes to 23,096, which is just 60 points away from Friday's close.
Below this, the index risks a move back towards 23,000 and even 22,800, as per analysts. The texture of the market through remains in sell-on-rallies as every intraday recovery on Friday kept getting sold into, resulting in the 500-point drop.
Some of the biggest gainers among the Nifty 500 stocks include ITI Ltd, MRPL, Tejas Network, Varun Beverages, Linde India and Aditya Birla Sun among others.
