For the Nifty, crossing 24,000 would mean opening the doors to 24,250 - 24,300 levels, while the supports could now shift higher to the 23,800 mark. The recovery seen in the broader markets will also please them as while the index struggled for momentum for a better part of Wednesday, the midcaps and small-cap indices were at the day's high.
