Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: We are the halfway mark, and the market contiue to remain largely flat. The markets are once again moving on a cautious note, with the Nifty trading flat around the 24,600 mark. The Nifty Bank is also in the same state, trying to scale the 58,000 mark. Titan, Reliance and Eternal are the top gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is past noon at Dalal Street, and not much has changed as the indices move in the second session of trade.T he markets are moving with a great amount of caution, as the Nifty trades largely flat with a positive bias, above teh 24,650 mark. The Sensex index is up over 250 points, jumping to 78,800
The index managed to defend the 24,500 mark yet again, and that will remain a crucial support for today's session as well. On the upside, the 24,700 - 24,800 zone will be important to watch for the Nifty.
The Nifty Bank also managed to defend 57,500 on the downside and close above that level, and the banking index is pushing past the 57,900 mark.
Today is the weekly expiry of the Sensex contracts, which will once again test the CAS system and the resultant changes the index has been witnessing over the last three sessions.
