Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The indices are trading in red, with the Nifty index falling steeply towards 25,000. The banking index has been hit majorly, thanks to big laggards in the shape of Axis Bank and Kotak Bank.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets look all set to end yet another week in red, after the marquee Nifty index traded with cuts of close to 100 points, with the possibility of it falling behind the coveted 25,000 mark. The Sensex has slumped by a major 300 points, falling below the 82,000 mark.
The banking index has been hit majorly, thanks to big laggards in the shape of Axis Bank and Kotak Bank.
Through the week, the Nifty has struggled to cross the 25,250 mark, which continues to remain a barrier. All eyes, though, will be on today and tomorrow, as three of the index's largest constituents, Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank, report results across these two days. RIL reports after market hours today, while the two banking giants report on Saturday.
