Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty is up for this week but down 700 points from Wednesday's high of 26,342. The absence of heavyweights supporting the index during the IT sell-off took the index down on Thursday, but the bulls managed to respect some key levels. The Nifty also has to contend with another day of tech led sell-off on Wall Street overnight. All eyes today will be on the RBI policy.

That makes the Nifty Bank the index to watch today with 60,000 being the key level. For the Nifty, 25,600 is the level that the bulls managed to defend on Thursday, but a slip below that brings the psychological support of 25,500 into play.

On the upside, the Nifty has made lower highs for two sessions now, making 25,750 the first level to watch, followed by 25,818, which is Wednesday's high.

Earnings reactions are aplenty. Hero MotoCorp, Mazagon Dock, Kaynes Tech, LIC, Bharti Airtel and many others. BEML, Coal India, Tata Steel, MRF, Kalyan Jewellers report today.
