However, they have to counter the recent escalations in US-Iran tensions, despite reports suggesting that a final text for the potential MoU has been agreed upon. Any official announcement in this regard could boost sentiments. Oil prices have not reacted much to either the escalation or the reports of a potential deal.

Same for the Nifty Bank, a close above 55,000 for the week will be taken positively, with 54,750 - 54,500 zone emerging as an immediate support.
