Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The bulls enter today's Nifty weekly expiry session with a sense of optimism after Monday's bounce. Althgough the texture of the market still remains a sell-on-rallies one, the bulls would aim to extend their gains for the second day running, and move closer towards the 22,800 mark on the upside.
While oil prices cooled overnight, bond yields continue to remain at elevated levels. IT stocks will be watched as the AI trade globally continues to find buyers, with the Nasdaq hitting record highs overnight. Monday's high of 22,621 on the Nifty will be the first level to cross for the bulls, while support may emerge between the 22,350 - 22,400 zone.
The Nifty Bank, the stronger among the two indices, also found pressure above the 55,000 mark, courtesy of HDFC Bank's underperformance, but the bulls would aim to retest the 55,000 - 55,200 zone on the upside, while looking for support between the 54,350 - 54,500 zone.
Business updates continue and more banking stocks, Kotak, Axis, IndusInd will be reacting to the same. However, Trent could be the stock to watch out for after its 23% revenue growth in Q2.
