Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The bulls are fighting tooth and nail to protect the 50-DMA on the downside, and despite multiple intraday breaks below it, the index is managing to close above those levels, albeit only just. The 25,800 mark continues to remain key for the Nifty, but it continues to find hurdles between the 25,900 - 26,000 zone.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Today, the final trading day of the week, may just turn out to be the most important day for the Nifty 50 and its constituents, as multiple may react to their respective newsflow.
The bulls are fighting tooth and nail to protect the 50-DMA on the downside, and despite multiple intraday breaks below it, the index is managing to close above those levels, albeit only just. The 25,800 mark continues to remain key for the Nifty, but it continues to find hurdles between the 25,900 - 26,000 zone.
Thursday's intraday high of 25,902 will be the first level to watch on the upside. Speaking of its constituents, IT remains in focus after Accenture's results. Shriram Finance may announce a large deal today, while IndiGo may react to a CCI probe initiation, along with a new CEO at Bharti Airtel.
Broader market names like Ola Electric, Lupin and Biocon also remain in the spotlight. ICICI Prudential AMC will list on the bourses today, and GMP rates indicate a strong debut. The Nifty needs to close above 26,046 to prevent a weekly loss, which could be its third in a row.
