Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Friday has been a very important day for the markets, especially in the last three weeks. The war-related uncertainties have made traders wary of carrying any positions, short or long, into the weekend.
Nifty has declined between 1% to 2% in each of the last three Friday's. After a ₹13 lakh crore rout, and the biggest fall in nearly two years, that is not something traders would want to hear.
However, there are multiple moving parts to contend with. Oil prices have eased but are still above $100. What has also eased is the US Dollar. However, sentiments remain fragile. Even if the Nifty sees a bounce, 23,200 - 23,300 may emerge as a supply zone.
On the downside, the next support emerges at 22,800 - 22,700. What also needs to be watched today is the reopening of the currency market after Thursday's holiday. Uncertainties around a heavyweight like HDFC Bank may also keep ultra-bullish sentiments in check. The situation remains uncertain and the weekend is nearing, promising another volatile session.
