Sensex Today | Stock Market Highlights: The Sensex fell 135 points to close at 75,183, while the Nifty slipped 4 points to settle at 23,655, below the 23,700 mark. The Nifty Bank index underperformed, falling 123 points to 53,439 after slipping over 1% from the day’s highs.

Sensex Today | Stock Market Highlights: Markets ended largely flat on Thursday after giving up early gains amid weakness in banking and IT stocks. The Sensex fell 135 points to close at 75,183, while the Nifty slipped 4 points to settle at 23,655, below the 23,700 mark.

The Nifty Bank index underperformed, falling 123 points to 53,439 after slipping over 1% from the day’s highs. Bajaj Finance, HUL and Tech Mahindra emerged among the top Nifty losers. At the same time, the Nifty IT index ended lower for a second straight session, with Coforge falling nearly 4% from intraday highs.

Broader markets remained resilient, with the Midcap index ending marginally higher and market breadth favouring advances at 3:2 on the NSE.

Oil marketing companies gained after Brent crude fell below $105 per barrel, with IOC, HPCL and BPCL rising to 2%.

Among individual stocks, Grasim extended gains after its Q4 results, while Apollo Hospitals rose 3% after reporting earnings above estimates with EBITDA up 31% year-on-year. Honeywell Automation surged 17% following strong quarterly results, while IRB Infrastructure climbed nearly 9% after guiding for over 20% toll revenue growth in FY27.

Jubilant FoodWorks dropped nearly 8% after its Q4 earnings, with Jefferies cutting its target price on the stock to ₹600 from ₹850. Sammaan Capital gained 9% after reporting zero NPAs following a balance sheet clean-up, while WeWork India jumped 19% after Q4 profit rose 78% year-on-year.
