The Lok Sabha on Wednesday witnessed a ruckus by opposition members over a controversial remark by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey inside the Lower House of Parliament during his speech.
Citing some books, Dubey made some comments on former prime ministers Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi, drawing the ire of the Congress party.
Congress MPs later went to Speaker Om Birla’s Office to complain against Dubey, leading to an argument with BJP MPs, including Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, who were present there.
