Reliance Industries Q2 Results LIVE Updates:  Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) on Friday (October 30) reported consolidated profit of ₹29,550 crore for the second quarter, compared with ₹23,196 crore in the previous quarter and ₹22,092 crore in the year-ago period as stronger refining margins and growth in its digital business offset relatively subdued performance in retail.

Consolidated revenue rose to ₹3.62 lakh crore from ₹3.40 lakh crore sequentially and ₹2.84 lakh crore year-on-year, marking the company's highest-ever quarterly revenue and its strongest-ever quarterly performance. Consolidated EBITDA margin stood at 18.8%, compared with 17.3% in the previous quarter and 19.5% in the corresponding quarter last year.

Reliance Industries' Oil-to-Chemicals (O2C) business reported revenue of ₹2.32 lakh crore, compared with ₹2.02 lakh crore in the previous quarter and ₹1.61 lakh crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA rose to ₹25,203 crore from ₹17,010 crore sequentially and ₹15,008 crore year-on-year. EBITDA margin improved to 10.9% from 8.4% in the previous quarter and 9.3% a year earlier.

The Oil and Gas business reported revenue of ₹6,020 crore, compared with ₹6,298 crore in the previous quarter and ₹6,058 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA stood at ₹4,901 crore, against ₹4,973 crore sequentially and ₹5,002 crore year-on-year. EBITDA margin was 81.4%, compared with 79% in the previous quarter and 82.6% in the corresponding quarter last year.
